Menallack Farm - Caryl and John Minson
Just outside Treverva on the road from Falmouth to Gweek, Menallack have been making cheeses for over 15 years. Using only single herd milk from local suppliers making cheeses from cow, goat, ewe and buffalo's milk.
Menallack Farmhouse
Hard, full fat, mould ripened cheese made with unpasturised milk - matured for 2 months for a rich, distinctive taste.
Menallack Vintage
12" diameter and 7kg in weight this truckle is matured for a minimum of 3 months.
Menallack Chive and Garlic
A younger cheese with delicate oniony tang.
Garden of Eden
Brimming with taste and texture of sundried tomatoes and parsley.
St Erme
Menallack Farmhouse truckle laced with chopped chilli peppers. This cheese has a distinct afterglow.
Cornish Fiesta
Previously feta - made from a single goat herd near Truro this cheese is marinated in sunflower oil with a selection of herbs.
Vithen
Cornish word for grass. This simplest and freshest of the goat's cheeses is not only delightful on a cracker but also enjoys mixing with other ingredients in the kitchen.
Polmesk
Unpressed, semi-hard pasturised goat's cheese matured for one month, coated in green wax - attractive clean finish in the mouth.
Fingals
Soft fresh goat's cheese from pasturised milk. Ideal for panne or grilling - approx 120g.
Nanterrow
Trembling with freshness this ewe's milk arc of fresh pasturised coulommier cheese is a natural for summer eating and also ideal in the kitchen.
