Cornish Country Larder - John Gaylard

A family run business started in 1997. The creamery overlooks the north coast at Tavarrian, near Newquay. All the cheeses use pasturised milk.

Cornish Brie

Traditional mould ripened cheese available in kilo or 3 kilo rounds as well as in a kilo square - ideal for sandwiches.

St Endellion Luxury Brie

Double cream is added to the milk before the cultures are added. The cheese is then placed in ripening rooms where the white mould develops giving its rich characteristic flavour.

Mature Farmhouse Cheddar

Made at North Bradden Farm following a traditional recipe giving a deliciously tangy and full bodied cheese that develops a fruity and complex flavour.

Village Green

Matured for at least 7 months during which time it develops its crisp, clean flavour. It is covered in a distinctive green wax.

St Anthony's

A soft, creamy goat's milk cheese ripened in an edible white rind and has a mild, clean and nutty flavour. Ideal for grilling.

Gevrik

"Small Goat". 70gm portion - Gevrick is a mould ripened cheese. It has a clean, fresh, nutty flavour which develops a creamy melting texture as it matures.

Camembert

Chatel

"Cow". Double cream is added to the full fat milk. After 10 days in the ripening room it has developed its white mould rind.
